First Blog! Yayy! and Oscars Overview
So,
This is the first blog. 1:17 am on a tuesday morning (well it was when I started this)… no better time than now. My lovely boyfriend is sleeping on the phone with me. He’s Aboubacar, I assume he’ll be writting on here from time to time. But we both are really busy with school and other things so, who knows.
Since this is the first blog, I’ll share a little about myself. My name is Andrea Leigh 
I’m 18 and a fashion
major in college. I plan to be a major designer one day. Hopefully all of you bloggers will watch me blossom into a great designer…one day…hopefully (fingers crossed!). As for my personal life, I have a yummy incredible man in my life that I mentioned earlier. We’re in love and its the best / most intensely painful feeling i’ve experienced. But he’s it. I know it.
Now that all that is out of the way…
OSCAR TIME!!
Not oscar time as in who won what but, who wore what. I just finished watching Fashion Police with Joan Rivers (duh), Khloe Kardashian (not sure why she was asked to judge style), Jay Manuel (from ANTM), and Giuliana Rancic (E! News). Although their insight was interesting, I didn’t always agree. Sorry guys.
Let’s start with their best dressed choice: Sandra Bullock. She was stunning in that Marchesa gown. The dress deserves recognition, without a doubt. BUT! and its a big “butt” at that. Jennifer “JLO” Lopez owned her Armani Prive gown. The architectual details of the gown translated well on the red carpet and glistened. I also loved Demi Moore in her silk organza Versace dress. It was totally different for her and it was a refreshing change.
Now for the Worst Dressed. The fashion police chose Charlize Theron in her Christian Dior dress. Although the cinnamon buns on her breast were a bad choice, Zoe Saldana in her purple Givenchy gown did much worse damage. It’s a great look for runway… not red carpet.
